Grandma pee & Funny people & Thought

>Last weekend, my sis, DD and I went back to Raub. My grandma had operation the week before and was longing to see her grandchildren. It was actually a small operation, a very common one as the doctor said. And the worst of all, she fall down and hurt her buttock when descending a step while going to her own room. Ever since then, whenever we ask her to stands up, she has the phobia that she gonna fall down soon and refuse to use any energy at all. So, when my parents went to work and Aunty Moi not around (went to KL), I have help her to stand up, fetch her water and rice and everything she wants and even bath her and change her diaper. And the diaper stink like hell when I help her to change. FML. She should have inform me earlier she had pee earlier. Come to think of it, this is the first time I am actually treat her like that. Weird but damn tiring la. Ever since I volunteer for the first time, for the pass few days when I'm at home, she keep on calling me to help me. My lazy sis just sit there and laugh at me. kns. Grandma dare not ask mom and dad cos they always scold her. lol. Ok, I don't mean bad by laughing. It's damn funny to see my parents scolding and nagging all the way while assisting her. Frankly speaking, she really deserved the scolding and nagging. It's for her own good. She shouldn't just sit there and rely on us. It's not good for her leg muscle for being stagnant so long. Yet, she refuse to move an inch. *Long sigh

How to help her if she didn't even want to help herself??!!!

> A very weird behave colleague of mine, we called him bangla (I'm not racist but he likes wearing his fugly tinted spec and post like bangla whenever he took picture of himself) trying to show that he can improve his English by watching Ang Mo movies but failed miserably.

He said, " The way to 1U got alot of TROLLY and CONTRACTOR" whereas he means "There's a lot of TRUCK with CONTAINERS on the way to 1U."

Another funny phrase from him, "Is the movie twilight(too-wee-light) nice?" None of us gave him respond. When I figured out what he meant, I inform the rest, of course with the correct pronunciation. FHL.

> Really hate those double standard people. If you are so stingy and your money is so damn precious, just keep it in the damn bank and don't try to think of traveling. Go keep your travel dream by holding on your idiot box. FYL.

Today

> I realise that one of my new colleague, doesn't know how to read resistor code. Really AMAZING. I wonder how he can pass the exam? Hmm..

Well, I've got to admit that I don't know the english version but for sure I can gurantee all of us studied before in Kemahiran Hidup class. "HAJI PAK MAT JIRAN KITA HENDAK BELI UBI KAYU PANJANG". Easy right?? lol.

> Just now, when I was descending the staircase, there is a young lady that smell like skunk in front of me. She put too much perfume that the aroma still lingering in the air she had passed by. wtf. Turns my appetite off.

Perfect timing

I’m so happy because I’ve received my online order books yesterday, of course without the miniShopaholic. It was better than I expected as I remember they mention earlier than there might be a delayed. The books arrived just right at the perfect timing as I just finished reading “The Fidelity Files”, which allowed me to continue with the sequel, “Good girls guide to bad boys”. lol.
Currently in "DND-I'm reading" mode.

The paradise ~ Bali

Just back from holiday in Bali :)

Our brief itinerary:

Day1: KL-Ubud

Took the package from Nice Tour Bali. Our driver cum guide, Budi pick us from airport to our hotel.

Welcome drink (ice lemon tea) serve upon our check-in in Greenfield Ubud.

Day2: Ubud-Lovina

Awake early for our breakfast.

The paddy field view from our hotel. Not so green as it's just after harvest season.

Me, posing while waiting for our food.

After breakfast, our first destination for the trip is to visit the Ubud Palace and Ubud Market.

Entrance of the Ubud Palace

DD inside the Ubud Palace. Overall, nothing special there as most of the section is closed for maintenance and we only spent like, errm not even 10 min inside. wtf.

Me, at Ubud Market. Yeah. Shopping time.

I managed to buy some really expensive figurine :( I saw the similar one in Krishna which is much much cheaper. Arrgghh.

Mini guitar. Cute giler. Almost tempted to buy.

Almost each stall also selling similar painting.

Bought my super expensive figurine at this stall.

DD at the other side of Ubud Market.

Lunch at Ibu Oka, famous for Babi Guling. Look at the humongous babi.

Our portion.

With our stomach full with babi, we proceed to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Not so green AGAIN as mostly harvested. I'm always not so lucky when ever comes to Paddy field. T__T

Proceed to Tirta Empul Temple, holy temple.

Me, at the entrance of the Holy Temple.

DD, wearing sarong. A must before you enter their worship place.

I have no idea what am I doing at that time. lol.

Me.

Holy water pool

Our next destination is the coffee farm, famous for Luwak coffee.

Coffee bean.

Luwak.

We didn't try the luwak coffee cause need to pay. kiasu me. But they gave us tried on lots of other drink which is free, which later on make me feel so dizzy and nausea. wtf.

Us. Behind is Mt Batur. But since the rain just stopped, the whole place was full of haze and can't even see anything cleared in 50m. Anyway, I have seen that during my last trip. So, poor DD can't see.

Since there is nothing much to see, Budi drove us to our hotel in Sunari Villa & Spa, Lovina. After check-in and rest for a while, we went to the beach for sunset.

At the beach

Sunset @ Lovina Beach

DD ber-posing
Beautiful decor at Sunari Villa and Spa.

We manage to book for whole body massage for 2 after our dinner. Woohoo.

DD hungry face while waiting for dinner to be served.

Our set dinner, Balinese cuisine. Basically same like Bumbu Bali in Malaysia. So-so only.

But we had the best dessert. Goreng pisang with shredded cheese and syrup. Yummy.

Day3: Lovina-Ubud
Wake up early for dolphin tour. wft. 6pm have to meet the captain Futu at hotel beach.

Superb energetic DD

Sleepy face me with the captain

Sunrise

The best picture of dolphin taken. Can you spot that TINY fellow.

My main motif for this trip is to see the dolphin at their natural habitat and SPA. And frankly speaking, this dolphin tour was kind of a bit disappointing. Too many boats around and each and every boat are trying their best to chase after those poor dolphin which caused them to sink back to the water. wtf. Most of the time, I only see the dolphin fin and a green boat cutting every each of my view. kns. The lucky thing is I still managed to see one of the dolphin doing somersault. Poor DD didn't see cause he busy shooting other dolphin. (Fail somemore. FHL.)

When the sky finally turned bright, we returned to the shore for our breakfast.

At the entrance of the hotel

Hiding behind the big pool of flower petals.

After check-out from hotel, Budi drove us to Banjar Village for hot spring. Basically it's the most mou liu place ever in our itinerary. We have plenty of hot spring in Malaysia. And it took us 20min to reach that place. wtf. Should have just omit that totally. I think our driver also kind of pik chik cos we just walked on round and leave. lol.

The hot spring.

We then proceed to visit Lake Beratan Temple. We didn't stay long in the temple as I have booked SPA session at SANG SPA, Ubud for us, without our driver knowledge. Well, he didn't suspect a single thing as DD mention that we wanted to end his service for the day earlier because we were too tired. The reason we don't want to let him know also mainly because he did recommend a spa center to us and that is bloody expensive.

One of the twin lake while on the way to Lake Beratan Temple.

Take photo again. That's what tourist like us do.

At Lake Beratan Temple.

Another side of the temple.

The temple. AGAIN. No doubt, a very beautiful temple.

Ceremony at the roadside. Barong dance performance. Budi slowed down the car for me to take this picture. IMHO, Barong dance has lots of resemblance to our Chinese Lion Dance. I've watched the performance when I visited Bali for the first time and it doesn't really impress me that much. So, when DD asked me about it, I explained that same like Lion Dance. Then, Budi overheard our conversation and decided to "correct" me. It was kind of rude for him to eavesdropped.

We reached Greenfield Ubud 5minutes earlier before the shuttle van from SANG SPA came and picked us. Perfect timing. The greedy me took the 4 hour SPA package. 1hour massage, 1 hour body scrub, 1 hour facial treatment, and lastly 1 hour cream bath. It was absolutely FABULOUS. Enjoy myself max. And quite cheap. Rp370.000.

We had our dinner at Bebek Bengil, dirty duck restaurant. Smoked duck set. Must pre-book one day in advance. Thanks to Greenfield staff.(Rp215,985)

Bebek

Day4: Ubud-Kuta

Woke up early again for our white water rafting adventure at Ayung River. We need to climb down lots of steps before we reach the starting point. By the time we stopped, my legs are shaking. wtf.
Our raft guide stop somewhere along the river to for us to take photo. Funny.

Another photo opportunity. Us, inside the raft.

Beautiful waterfall

After about 1hour of adventure, we finally reached the ending point. And we still need to climb up dunno how many hundred steps that basically killing me. I couldn't stand properly right after I reached the last step. Lucky enough, there is an "escalator" in the middle of the jungle before we reached the restaurant for lunch.

Our next destination is Kuta. I requested Budi to send us to our hotel as I decided to skip the Jatiluwih Rice Field. Ok. No point going anymore as just past harvest season. Monkey forest. I can see monkey at zoo. And turned out that, we went shopping at Krishna. Must GO place as they sell the items at local price. fml. I saw the similar figurine here selling much cheaper price compare to Ubud Market. fml.

After shopping, we went to check in at Tune Hotel. Nap for a while before Budi picked us up for our last destination of the day, Tanah Lot. The place is flooded with tourist and damn crowded. It makes me feel uncomfortable as I started to have headache. Probably it was stuffy when we were shopping at Krishna.

Those tiny tiny thing beside the temple is people. Omfg alot of them.

The famous and most crowded temple

Align CenterBeach at Tanah Lot

Another side of the beachMini temple

Can't see sunset due to cloudy day.

The happy DD

Our dinner at restaurant at Tanah Lot

One of the plot of Kecak Dance

After Kecak Dance, retire to hotel. Because my headache quite terrible that even painkiller also can't reduce the pain, we didn't go out to see the night life of Kuta. Poor DD.

Day5: Kuta-KL

Force to wake up early because need to check out from Tune Hotel at 10am. Should have just extended our check-out time so that can get more sleep. lol.

Breakfast at Made Warung

Went to stroll along Kuta Beach after breakfast. But we left quite early cause there is nothing much to do or see there for us.

Kuta Beach

Went to shop for our instant noodle Pop Mie at Matahari Complex. We bought the whole box of Pop Mie and about 20 packet of different brand instant noodle. While making our payment at the cashier, we noticed a lot of other patrons looking at our direction. They must thought that we don't have instant noodle in our country or maybe we will be send off to some ulu ulu place where foods availability is limited. lol.

Carrying two boxes of instant noodle, we walked along the street to find place for massage. Our money not sufficient for us to do body massage so we went for foot reflexology. FOL.
I have no idea where else to go so we went back to hotel lobby and wait for our time to pass by until our van reached to send us to airport.

The funny thing is, we reached the airport too early that we can't even check in our luggage. And I've finished reading the book I brought along. So, we just sit there and eat our supposed to be souvenir. Banana cracker.

Banana cracker

Avocado juice

Finally, DD can taste the avocado juice since I've been telling him how nice it is. Famous in Indonesia. Unfortunately, each and every stalls we went, there are out of stock. We finally managed to drink it while at airport. But not as nice as what I've remember.

P/S: I forgot to bring DD to the memorial park for the bombing site in Kuta. FHL. I only remember when I was in the plane. That is why I was wondering what have I left out. lol.

That's basically my brief summed up itinerary. Not so brief la. lol.
