Body Language

A funny mail that I found in my archieve...

A woman gets on a city bus. She looks at the driver and holds up one hand; the driver holds up two hands. Next, the woman points up; the driver points down. Then, the woman grabs her breast; the driver grabs his crotch. Finally, the woman grabs her butt and gets off the bus.

A curious passenger asked the bus driver what the odd motions were all
about. The driver explained, "The woman is a deaf-mute. She asked me if a bus ride
is five cents, and I told her it was ten cents. Next, she asked if the bus was going uptown, and I told her it was going downtown. Then, she asked if the bus was going pass the milk-farm, and I told her it was going pass the ball-park."
The passenger interjected, "Okay, but why did she grab her butt as she left the bus?"

The driver continued, she replied "Oh shit, I'm on the wrong bus!"

My Lil Secret One Year Anniversary

Happy birthday to My Lil Secret. It's been a year since I start blogging.

In another two week, I am going to be older another year. T__T
I don't wanna grow old.

Anyway, I'm so excited and can't wait til the weekend cos Siang says he have a surprise for me. My early birthday celebration. No matter how I tried to make him disclose what it that, he just won't tell me.

All I know is I need to wakeup early in the morning and reach the place before 8am. fml. I still need to get up so early on Saturday morning. I might sweat a bit during the "journey". I will be amazed by what I might encounter. It's very exciting and challenging. The activity is weather dependent. lol. The first thing that ever cross my mind is, I can finally got the chance to sit on a private plane. But it's not. It's not riding ATV. It's not sphering, thank god. It's not paint ball or sky trekking or flying-fox either. Hmm, really have no idea what could that surprise be.

Anyway, will tell ya all after I've receive my surprise. lol.
Will end here cos I wanna watch my CSI. lol.

To the East... to the East... Mulu

Harlo there...

I'm back from the East... Mulu & Miri. And it's in Sarawak, not Sabah in case some of us don't know. lol. really de. one of them is my colleague. oppss... i can't revel the name.

Anyway, back to my story. It's the first time I step my feet on Sarawak. Yes. Not something I should proud of, but then it's because the flight ain't cheap last time. Ok. Most of the time. If it's not because it's free, I won't really going. I am damn kedekut fellow. lol.

So, the day of our departure, my bro, Meng send us to LCCT. Ahah, he is not that kind okay. He only agree to do so coz we are bribe him with Starbuck coffee and lunch from Oldtown Kopitiam. And I think his mood on that day must be quite good as well. lol.

Since Shoni holding our boarding pass, we can’t drop off our luggage until she arrived. And we met this kns aunty (AA staff) that don’t allow us to check in our bag because she is closing her counter. Wtf. And she demands us to queue at the drop off luggage counter, which at that time, the queue is very super duper damn long.

We reached Miri Airport safely and took taxi to our hotel. Since there are 5 of us, we are forced to take 2 taxis. After check in into our spacious apartment room and dropped our luggage, we had our dinner at Ming’s cafe, recommend by James, the Miri-an.

The lazy fellow...

And we bought alot of snack. We walked around our hotel's neighbourhood to buy bread to eat with tuna. So, we were in one of the supermarket and couldn't find any. So, Shoni went to ask the cashier, "Sini ada Gardenia?" Cashier give us a blank expression. "Gardenia roti? Hi-Five?" insist our dear Shoni. Another blank look is what we get. Finally, we conclude that there is no Gardenia or High5 at Miri. We didn't seems to find any. lol.

My breakfast.. instant noodle. very yummy and I didn't find any in KL.

The hiao po pretending to read.. not reading actually

Our next destination, Mulu. We took Maswing and the flight is only half an hour. Thank god that it’s only half and hour cause I almost vomit my breakfast out. The whole journey pretty shaking and unstable due to the bad weather condition.

View from the mini plane. Just happen to sit beside the noisy engine.

The cute Mas Wing

Reached the Mulu airport finally and while waiting for our luggage to be loaded at the baggage claim counter, we took a lot of photos until the security guard stops us. lol.

Siang.. between the two "bukit"

Shoni and I

The cute mini car

We were transfer to our resort by mini lorry. Shoni and I rush to sit at what we thought the best place but end up it’s the other way round.

Why la.. the sun so bright and hot...

After rest for about an hour or more, we start our journey to explore the wild. We did the canopy walk. To me, it’s nothing so special about it as I don’t seems to know or notice the differences in each stop. Well, all also green leaves with almost similar pattern. The only thing I realize is that the forest pretty dense as I don’t seems to kena the bright sunlight.

Me at the canopy walk

Same species? or not?

Can you spot the insect?

We continue to explore the Lang and Deer Cave.

The girls at the entrance of the Lang Cave

And then our second cave is the Deer Cave. A smaller cave but stink so much. Full of bat shits.

Shoni and I posing in front of the entrance.

Profile of Abraham Lincoln. View from inside Deer Cave

After visiting the caves, we all wait at the Bat Observatory to view the evening exodus of bats from the Deer Cave.

Bats roaming out from cave cari makan.

The next day
Us on the boatride to Penan Longhouse market, on the way to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave.

The long house at the market

Look at that funny outfit. Football socks. lol.

Group picture at the Penan Market

Us without Shoni (the camerawoman) inside Wind cave. Not windy at all de. T__T.

The Wind cave, as the name indicate, suppose to be WINDY. But that is not the case when we went there. I was sweating like hell inside the stuffy cave. Seems like it will only be windy during the afternoon.

Reluctantly, we walked to the Clearwater cave. It seems like we can take boat there but we didn't know about it after we are done. wft. And we are informed that we need to climb about 2oo steps to get inside Clearwater Cave.

Upon knowing this, the lazy Shoni gave up and decided to wait for us. lol.

Meiyun and I after climbing about 2oo over staircase. wtf.

One of the odd plant. One leave plant.

Ok. If I hear correctly, the cave also called Ladies Cave. The reason is because, there is one section when you torch the wall of the cave, there is image of a couple, kissing. The guide insist it looks like couple making love. lol. As shoni mentioned before, nature is really damn ham sap. lol. Shoni... u miss this ham sap scene. Wahahaha.

That would be our last cave to visit in our itinerary. In the afternoon, we take a boat ride to another market, Kg Long Iman. Jc didn't go this time as he mention, it's nothing to see or do, which turned out to be very true.

The long house.

Us at the market.

Frankly speaking, it doesn't look like a market to me at all. The people at the market just sit there and never took the initiative to promote their product. And the price is not cheap either. More expensive than the first market we went. And they should have at least have a guide to show us around and explain on the culture and lifestyle of the people there. Or maybe serve tuak to us. lol. So boring.

Us without Jc (he probably sleeping in the hotel room that time), with our resort logo.

At the entrance of the resort.

Shoni at their petrol station. Damn cute lo. The petrol station okay.

We were then being transfer to the Mulu airport to take our flight back to Miri before being transfer back to KL. Another bumpy experience with Mas Wing. lol.

I bought my souvenir at the airport. There are more choices of stuff compare to the market.
I also bought the kuih lapis. Very colourful and yummy. No picture cos I finish it all before I realise I haven't took picture of it. lol.

The end.

Funny old junk/tressure

I admit that I am one of those persons who like to keep rubbish. Well, not because I’m lazy to clean the must but then everything that I keep, it reminds me of the little things that once happen in my life. It may not be something great or what so ever but whenever I looked back, it reminds me of the person I used to be at that time.

The other night, I saw my sister cleaning the bookshelf in our room and she took out all the documents that she keeps since standard 6. Mostly her report cards since that time. Lol. Anyway, I decided to find mine as well but then I couldn’t remember where I kept. Or to be precise, if I ever keep that time. My mom told me that she kept for us but couldn’t recall where is it now. Anyway, instead of report card, I found something worth to share with all. Lol. The letter I receive from my friend, Michele. Even though we are in the same class, I wrote letter to her instead to talk to her. I even have tons and tons of letter from Shoni. Btw, she just sits beside me that time. Lol.

I don’t remember when and why we start to write to each other. Probably because there is a lot of things that we shouldn’t talk in school (got spy) or through phone (bill expensive). But then because of this letter, I recall back my time when I was in secondary school. Damn naïve and stupid de lo. Lol. But if we didn't do that, I wouldn't even remember that this incident ever happen. It was kind of funny and happy at the same time, to be able to refresh back on the old times. As long as I didn't lost all those letters, I am sure after 20 or 30 years later, I still can laugh at myself when I re-read those. Sweet isn't it?

Of all those letters, I’m going to share the letter from Michele. Cause this is the most funniest of all.

Date: 3.6.99

Dearest Yen Nee,

I receive your letter dated 1st June 1999. Hi! How are you? I'm fine here. Hope you are fine too.

In your letter, you asked me to guess who is that guy, right? I think he is FCW. Now, I understand why Angie ejek you and FCW already. Actually which guy do you meant? Why is Angie angry with you and Shoni? You should be angry not her, right. So, are you still angry with her, now?

Ah Chong know about this secret already, ah? I think he haven't tell anyone yet. So, don't be too worry about this. Just forget about this incident, okay. Maybe Angie is unfair to you by asking you alot of question but in return she enggan jawab your questions. You forgive her loh, "tai yan yau tai leong" mah. You know her sikap what. So, just "yan" only, loh.

On 26th of May 99, you come to my house right? I heard you whispering to Shoni that Shoni has another problem with Angie too. Can you tell me what is it all about. But if it's a secret then, nevermine lah. But, anyway I will keep secret if you tell me. You can trust me, right.

Hei, what you want to buy for Shoni on her birthday? If you agree, we both share a present or maybe ask MinLi and others to share also. We will discuss it later in school, okay. And one more thing, yesterday you asked me to pay you RM8.40. I will pay you on Sunday during PA tuition if I remember only. Hope you will wait patiently.

You shouldn't leave this world because of this little incident. It is not worth it, you know. If I know you try to do that again, I will kill you myself. Anyway, how much "kar chan" do you have? How much is 20% of it?

You can always write to me when you feel like doing something stupid or you have any problems that you wan to express to me. You can also talk to me on the phone. Ok lah, I have nothing more to ask or tell you already. I will end my letter here. Bye.

Yours sincerely,
Michele

P/S: Please reply my letter as soon as possible. Do not let Shoni read this letter because there is something "kuan yi" her in this letter.

I guess I need to explain a bit regarding the whole situation. Why am I angry with Angie? Well, because, on of the weekend, when Shoni's parent not in Raub, Angie, Shoni and I chit chat and gossip at her house. We talked about alot of nonsense thing, which I don't recall much other than this incident. We were allowed to ask each other a question and must answer it truthfully. So, Angie asked who am I having crush on that time? Being very paiseh that time, I give them hint without telling the actual name. Stupid me that the hint must be damn obvious that they can guess that person correctly. The rules of the game is everyone must answer to the same question. Shoni did mention, if not mistaken should be TMC, but Angie didn't tell us. She is not being truthful enough.

And worst, she tell Ah Chong about it. And at that time, and even know, that Ah Chong is famous being mulut tempayan. He can't keep any secret. Upon knowing this, it scared the hell out of me. It's damn embarrassed if everyone knows. It was supposed to be a secret but then Angie betrayed me. lol. The 25 lui. And worst part of all, I am so worried and scared that I can't sleep that night. I was juggling whether I should call Ah Chong to "beg" him not to tell anyone or not. In the end, I did call him. I guess he also quite shocked as I call him in the middle of the night and thank God that he is kind enough that he actually didn't tell anyone at all. But the bad Angie go and spill it out. That's the reason Michele guess the person correctly. lol. I have no idea who else know.

At that time, I felt so embarrass and depress that I actually thought of ending my life. Well, of course I didn't do it. I actually tell everyone that I planned to do so. lol. And located 20% of my kar chan to mike mike. lol. What was I thinking that time?? hmmm...

This was part of my life. Farnie right??? How about your story??

Mike mike writing so neat ooo....

The day I learn about the root of my family..

Last weekend, I went back to Raub for the Ching Ming festival, i.e the Ancestor Day or the tomb-sweeping day. When I was younger, I used to follow my family members to my ancestor graves. As I grow older, the frequencies lessen each year, until this year. This is the first time, after so long that I actually went to visit my ancestor tomb.

I found out that the current house that we are staying, it wasn’t bought by my grandpa. It belongs to my great-grand-aunt. It seems like she doesn’t have any children of her own. So, she decided to give it to my grandpa. None of us know why she gave it to my grandpa rather than her own siblings but then it was a long time ago story. So, basically, I have a shelter to stay also because of this kind-hearted great-grand-aunt.

The funny part is that, since my parents doesn’t really know the actual procedure for the praying ceremony, we just simply arrange and do until the nosy ah moi gugu come and correct us. And my father, being the person-in-charged snapped back and says, “Procedure not important, as long we have the heart to come”. All of us agreed at once. Well, how could we offend the PIC. Haha.

Anyway, because it was my first time I didn’t know I have so many relatives tomb to clean, I didn’t apply any sun block. fml. And I got sunburn. It hurts so much. T____T
Overall, it was a good day as I learn something about my family.
..................................................................................................................................
I missed my grandpa. Even he's not with us anymore, he's still inside my heart dearly. I remember when I was younger, he always accompany me to take my bus to school. He would never hold my hand but I know he is watching me from behind, side or even front. He always prepare hot water in the basin early in the morning for us to wash our face and brush our teeth. He knows I don't like touching cold water early in the morning. On the table, there will always have hot milo, waiting for me to drink it. I don't have alarm clock and I don't need one at that time. He will always remind my grandma to wake us up sharp at 6.30am each morning without fail. These kind of gesture, even it doesn't have any significant to others, it means alot to me. That is my only grandpa. The clean, organized, neat grandpa.
