Trip to North - Kedah

Secret of the day....

Siang and I went back to his hometown during the merdeka long weekend.
It's my first time I'm going to stay at his house and pay a visit to his parents and grandparents.
Well, actually I've seen them during his brother's wedding dinner last year.

Siang brought me to visit around Alor Setar as I haven't been there before. Our first stop is the Paddy Musuem. On the way to the Musuem, saw this signboard that I find it weird and funny.

They originally spell the word CARPET is correct but not sure why changed to KARPET. Weird.

Inside the museum, there is a really enormous revolving picture of paddy field and the daily activity of the people living around the area. I would recommend all to pay a visit to the museum if got the chance.

On the way back, saw the signboard that show the Komplex Rumah Kelahiran Tun Mahathir Mohamed. We turn in and discover its close. We were a bit too late.

Second day, we went to Bukit Kayu Hitam. Borders between Thailand and Malaysia. Went to shopping at their duty free shopping complex.
